Today was the first day of our music class. We did a lot of activities today, such as notation review, and we also received my project week booklet, and the music booklet about bebop music with the scores in them. I was quite satisfied, but i think that i missed a mark just because i have no colored picture is very silly, but i am happy that i got most A's for the project week booklet. Also today, we are given clues about what we are going to learn this term, and we are also informed that we will have a group performance with 4 different instruments in a group. The group has been divided in the class, and i am quite satisfied with the group members. I doing good in the class, because i was very attentive. I hope that i can do this term better than before, and i hope that i can work with my group cooperatively, so we will achieve our goal, and get as best score as possible.

Today is the last class of term 3. There is not much activity today. In the theory class, we reviewed on making 7 chords. First, we have to make a scale (B scale, for instance). Then, we have to take the first, third, fifth, and the seventh note to make a 7th chord. We are also thought to make the dominant 7 chord and the minor 7th chord. I think that i did very well today, because i was very attentive, and i finished all the exercises. I think that i need to practice more on making these chords, so i am even better in playing jazz, because Mr. Herry said that this is an important element of Jazz.

Today was the real assessment on our 12 bar blues performance, and Mr. Herry was present today. He decided to divide the group according to the instruments. first, the piano students stay in the music room, and the others leave. The piano students will take turn in playing their 12 bar blues composition, while the guitar and violin students play their 12 bar blues composition continuously. I was the third from last. I think that i did well, since i prepared myself, and i was not nervous. I think i did not make any mistakes, my fingering and my picking techniques are correct. I was happy to hear Mr. John said that my performance was really good. I think that i should not be nervous next time, because from this performance, i learned that if i am not nervous, i can perform well

Today, Mr. Herry did not come to school, so the 12 bar blues performance assessment was cancelled, and today is just the rehearsal of the 12 bar blues performance. I was quite nervous. When it was my turn, I asked ms Harry Wisnu to make the beat faster. I think that i was performing well. I did not make any mistakes, but i am not sure, because it all happened so fast. I think that this could be a great preperation for the real 12 bar blues assessment on friday.

Today was our performance of the song "All of Me. I did really bad. I was out of tempo in some parts of the song, and my chord was wrong in one part. This is due to that i cannot hear the piano rytm, because the volume was too small. I should not be nervous next time, because it is actually the main cause to make my performance low, making me forgot the notes and chords.
